Woman tragically dies after car rolls down embankment near North Burnett
Police have confirmed a woman has died and a child has been flown to hospital following a serious car crash between Gin Gin and Mount Perry.

UPDATE 7AM SATURDAY:
A woman has tragically died following a serious car rollover between Mount Perry and Gin Gin.
Initial inquiries indicate just after 3pm on Friday, July 9, a Toyota Landcruiser rolled down an embankment at the corner of Gin Gin Mount Perry and Spring roads in Moolboolaman.
The 54-year-old local woman died at the scene.
A young boy was airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.
The 55-year-old male driver was taken by road to Bundaberg Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

One person has tragically died after a car rolled down an embankment off Gin Gin Mount Perry Road and Rainbow Avenue on Friday, July 9.
Emergency services remain on scene.
EARLIER:
Emergency services are on scene at a serious car rollover, which has left a person fighting for their life and a child injured.
One person is in a critical condition and a child is reportedly being treated by paramedics on scene.
A third person, a man in his 40s, has been transported to Bundaberg Hospital with arm injuries.
According to a Queensland Police spokesman, the vehicle rolled down an embankment off Gin Gin Mount Perry Road and Rainbow Avenue at 3.27pm on Friday, July 9.
Two rescue helicopters have been tasked to the scene.
