Emergency crews called to crash at South Ulam Rd Bajool
A man has been rescued from the crushed wreckage of his car after it flipped and became entangled in trees south of Rockhampton.

A man has been flown to hospital after being thrown from his car in a single-vehicle crash on a rural road south of Rockhampton.
Emergency crews were called to the incident on South Ulam Rd at Bajool about 11.54am after the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
The RACQ CapRescue helicopter was also tasked to the incident.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics assessed one man, aged in his late 40s, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, for a head injury.
The man was found lying on the roadside with “life threatening injuries” when emergency crews arrived.
He was treated by QAS paramedics until the RACQ CapRescue crew arrived with a onboard doctor and critical care paramedic.
The man was then flown in a stable condition to Rockhampton Hospital where he will undergo further treatment for his injuries.
The crash comes after what has been a horror day on Queensland’s roads.
Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle rollover on the Burnett Highway at Booubyjan, west of Gympie, where one person was in a critical condition and another seriously injured.
Meanwhile in Gladstone, a woman suffered chest injuries after crashing into a parked car in the early hours of the morning.
