Police divers are at the scene of an incident in Hervey Bay after a vehicle was found submerged in a lake overnight. VIDEO

Police divers are at the scene of an incident in Pialba after a vehicle became submerged in a lake overnight on Tuesday night.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman confirmed a crew had been called to the lake in O’Rourke St about 11.45pm on Tuesday.

She said a vehicle had been pulled from the water with no occupant inside.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics had also attended the scene, but no one had been treated.

Members of the public took photos of police divers and officers at the scene on Wednesday morning.

Police have been contacted for comment.
