Drink drivers, drug drivers who faced Gladstone Magistrates Court
A learner driver and a carer were among the latest traffic offenders to face court at Gladstone. Here’s who they were.

The following people pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.
Drink driving

Christopher Ken Bergquist, 32
Bergquist blew a reading of .123 after police intercepted him on Creek Road, Tannum Sands, on January 18.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 11 to drink driving.
With no prior similar offending, Bergquist, a full-time carer for his dad, was fined $650 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for three months.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Michelle Louise Parsons, 49
Parsons blew a reading of .059 after police intercepted her on Malpas Street, Boyne Island, on December 31.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 11 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Parsons, a mother, was fined $400 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.

Mecciah Fox Cooper, 19
Learner driver Cooper was caught driving with cannabis in his system on Dixon Drive, Kirkwood, on December 9.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 11 to drug driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Cooper was fined $350 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for three months.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
Chahana Faye Miriana Wade, 22
Wade was caught driving with both methamphetamine and cannabis in her system on Walsh Street, Gladstone, on November 2.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 11 to drug driving and failing to appear in court.
With no prior similar offending, Wade was fined $800 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
