Drink drivers, drug drivers who faced Gladstone Magistrates Court
An operator at the mines who blew more than four times the legal blood alcohol limit and a plant operator busted with two drugs in his system were among the latest traffic offenders to face Gladstone court.

The following people pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday to either drink driving or drug driving offences.

Raymond Jean Stewart, 26
Stewart blew a reading of .232 after he was involved in a traffic crash on Sutton Street, Barney Point, on January 5.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 4 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Stewart, an operator at the mines, was fined $1600 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Dominic Craig Ryan, 36
Ryan had both methamphetamine and cannabis in his system when police intercepted him on the Bruce Highway at Foreshores, on September 8.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 4 to drug driving.
The court heard that Ryan was on a probationary licence at the time of his offending.
With one previous similar offence in the past five years, Ryan, a plant operator who also runs his own plumbing business, was fined $750 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for three months.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Daniel James Marsh, 32
Marsh had both methamphetamine and cannabis in his system when police intercepted him on Barney Street, Barney Point, on October 18.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 4 to drug driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Marsh, who is self-employed restoring cars, was fined $500 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Brian Carter, 65
Carter was caught driving with methamphetamine in his system on Boyne Island Rd, Boyne Island, on September 22.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 4 to drug driving.
With no previous offending of this kind, Carter, retired and receiving a disability pension, was fined $450 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
