Esk woman wins $5.2m in Saturday Gold Lotto division one

An Esk mum has revealed how she will spend her multimillion-dollar win, after finding out she was the sole division one winner from Saturday night’s draw.

A lucky pick of numbers has forever changed the life of one Esk woman, who has walked away with a whopping $5.2m win.

The woman was in disbelief after her chosen numbers took out the entire prize pool in the Saturday Gold Lotto.

“Wait, you’re not joking, right? You’re not joking?” the woman screamed after being told she was the sole division one winner.

“This is going to change my life. My heart feels like it’s going to beat out of my chest.

“I’m going to be able to pay off the mortgage, visit my family overseas and set up my children for the future.”

The 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Esk News, with owner Dion Wengel incredibly excited for the local woman, and to have sold the winning ticket.

“We’re going to be shouting this news from the rooftops of Esk,” he said.

“This is the first division one winning entry we’ve sold so it’s an extremely exciting day for us.

“We hope there are more (division one winners from the store) to come and wish our winning customer all the best for the future.”

The winning numbers on February 4 Saturday Gold Lotto were 45, 11, 34, 27, 31 and 39, with the supplementary numbers 5 and 28.
