Teen charged with Point Vernon caravan park murder to have case adjourned until early next year
The case against a 14-year-old girl, who police allege fatally stabbed a 24-year-old in the back at a popular tourist park, has returned to court.

A 14-year-old girl accused of killing a 24-year-old man at a Hervey Bay caravan park has had her case adjourned until the new year.
The teen was charged with the murder of Stuart Wallace-Cuneo, after she allegedly stabbed him in his back, once, at the Big4 Point Vernon Holiday Park on Saturday, August 10.
Police will allege the 14-year-old was not acting in self-defence and had consumed both drugs and alcohol in the lead-up to the altercation.
Her charge was set for a committal hearing at the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning, but she was not present.
Instead, her lawyer briefly appeared via phone and requested an adjournment.
The case has been adjourned for a committal hearing at Hervey Bay Magistrates Court next year on February 5, 2025.
