Man injured in motorbike crash on Bruce Highway near Torbanlea, Qld
Paramedics have rushed a man to hospital after he suffered life-threatening injuries while riding his motorbike on the Bruce Highway at the Fraser Coast.

A man has been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital with life-threatening injuries after being thrown from his bike while travelling on the Bruce Highway near Torbanlea.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said crews were called to the scene, near the Hwy’s intersection with Burrum Heads Rd, shortly after 11am Friday.
The man suffered significant chest, arm, and leg injuries in the crash.
He was found by paramedics lying by the side of the road.
A LifeFlight rescue helicopter was initially called to the scene, but subsequently stood down.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
