The Bruce Highway has been left partially blocked after a truck hit a cow near Maryborough.

The Bruce Highway near Maryborough is partially blocked after a truck hit a cow about 8.55pm on Wednesday.
The crash happened at Glenorchy and left the northbound lane of the highway blocked, a police spokeswoman said.
Police were also facing the challenge of a large storm rolling in, she said.
It is believed the cow had been removed from the road.
