A man has been rushed to a Queensland hospital with life-threatening injuries after falling through a ceiling.

A man is fighting for life after paramedics rushed him to a Bundaberg hospital after a fall through a ceiling on Tuesday morning.

Paramedics rushed the man in his 80s, with life-threatening head and chest injuries and abdominal pain, to the Bundaberg Hospital after he fell through the ceiling at a private home on Old Creek Rd in Childers.

The incident happened about 11.50am, July 30.
