A car has erupted into flames on the Sunshine Coast, causing Bruce Hwy delays on Saturday.

Drivers on the Bruce Hwy at the Sunshine Coast have been warned of lengthy delays after a car erupted into flames.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesman said one crew was called to a car fire on the Bruce Hwy at around 1pm Saturday.
He said there was smoke impacting vision on the highway and police were directing traffic.
A police spokeswoman said both lanes of the highway travelling northbound at Palmview were blocked as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, which destroyed one car.
One lane has since be reopened.
It’s not year clear how the fire started.
