Hezbollah lies low as incursion under way

The Israel Defence Forces say their first overt ground operations in Lebanon for 18 years will root out Hezbollah’s missile launchers from tunnels near the border.

Tehran lashed out at existential threat

Iran has confirmed that Tuesday night’s missile barrage was in direct response to Israel’s attacks on Hezbollah, ending the paralysis that seemed to have struck the regime.

Iron Dome – and perhaps a warning – averts disaster

When Israel strikes, there is no warning. The first that anyone in the unit block above Hezbollah’s command bunker would have known of the bombs that killed Hassan Nasrallah, would also have been the last. Israel, though, is better prepared.
