The Little Marionette
Contemporary
In front of one of The Little Marionette's roasters (the mothership roasters are now in St Peters) is an enchanted library space. Take a seat at the bar behind the line of four grinders, or walk through the swung-open bookcase through to a hidden space where a few lucky ducks can relax in armchair comfort. Ask the barista to put together a caffe latte ($3.50) from the La Marzocco, and you'll get a smooth, full-bodied brew. Or grab an espresso, partly for its craftsmanship and partly for the joy of their espresso cups. The menu is embossed on a mirror, listing simple all-day breakfast options such as avocado and toast.
