Reuben Hills
Cafe$$
An ice-cream sandwich for breakfast might sound outlandish, but not at Reuben Hills. Jolt your sugar levels with a plain version spiked with salted caramel or raspberry boosted by marshmallow 'fluff'. The menu's anything-goes charm also includes a 'Not Reuben Sandwich' (crammed with wagyu brisket, manchego cheese, horseradish cream and pickled slaw) while the baleadas lead to diners slamming down tortillas for breakfast. Pastries also draw on Latin American flavours while the coffee is seriously local in that it's roasted on-site. The adventurous milkshakes (black sesame, anyone?) provide an alternative buzz.
