Lyons RAW
Healthy
Expect to see a lot more business models like this one in the coming years: a nicely styled neighbourhood cafe with plenty of tables inside and upstairs, a something-for-everyone menu and a simple bar licence so it can open as a tapas wine bar on key nights. Why waste a good cafe space after hours, goes the thinking - especially when it's as rough-hewn, raw-bricked and corrugated-ironed as this. The menu is ginormous - probably too big for its own good - and the Toby's Estate piccolo ($3.50) has notes of bitter cocoa and orange zest. Keep an eye out for the pies, they're good.
