Contemporary

This brand new hidey-hole in the Northern beaches' suburban sprawl has a roller door that comes down at flexible hours (including lunchtime, until they install their new kitchen) But if you fluke a visit while it's up, there's nutty Tiempo coffee ($3.50) by Belaroma to be had, from seasonal blends or rotating single origin beans. Best bet is to turn up in the am - with Coffee Lane, 'tiempo', which means time in Spanish, is everything. At this stage food is all banana bread, muffins and friands, with kitchen-pending plans for toasted sandwiches.
