Chutney
Indian$$
One of many restaurants vying for trade in Harris Park's Little India, Chutney serves a wide range of mostly Punjabi and Southern Indian dishes. Bright walls and a soundtrack of Bollywood music videos ensure dining isn't po-faced. Dahi bhalla - lentil doughnuts served with a yoghurt, mint and tamarind sauce - are a good place to begin and best paired with a salad plate to ameliorate this entree's spicy finish. There's a raft of dosa - thin, golden brown pancakes - and the usual curry suspects (lamb korma, butter chicken) feature on the lengthy, vegetarian-friendly menu.
