Choc Deli
Contemporary
Royal National Park junkies now have a great reason to veer off the highway. A big chunk of this little corner cafe's appeal lies in its old-fashioned identity: the retro fit-out, chrome milkshake containers, black-and-white checked flooring and pony-tailed staff all work together to make you feel five years old again. But it's not just decadent milkshakes, ice-cream sodas and jaffles; great care is also taken with the coffee. A regular latte ($3.50) made from 100% aromatic Arabica beans is earthy-sweet and creamy. And surprise, surprise, it tastes even better when served with a small selection of hand-crafted chocolate.
