Contemporary

A million miles from its palatial white Las Vegas namesake, this Bellagio greets you with a striking two-storey wall of Cubist graffiti, a great coffee and a cheeky grin from owner Felix Clark. There are regularly changing Fairtrade specialty coffees (try Burundi Mahonda) and a flat white is robust: peppery, rich and creamy, with a long-lasting aftertaste. You can lounge around inside or sit up at picnic tables in the kid-friendly backyard with Luxe Bakery organic breads and smoked salmon, smoked pastrami or pulled pork, all done in house - the making of which, along with all jams, pickles and relishes - is proudly documented on Facebook.
