Billu’s
Indian$$
Billu’s is a big joint, with a big menu and an even bigger range of sweets. A Harris Park mainstay, the frontage twinkles at night owing to a pretty swath of fairy lights. Inside, things are positively homespun, with the proprietor totting up the books on a table alongside the diners. He must be doing something right, because with deft ordering, Billu’s remains cheap as chips. The mixed platter is a great starter to share, featuring juicy chops, saffron chicken, minced meat kebabs and fried fish. Of the mains, the giant masala dosa or any of the biryanis are fool-proof choices.
