Via Boffe
Italian
This labyrinthine cafe may be small (for now - expansion plans are under way) but it packs a flavourful punch with its lush array of home-style Italian dishes. The menu is what’s in the cabinet - you might strike cigar-thin baguettes simply filled with brie, tomato and cos; a chunky salad of prosciutto, pumpkin and vegies; or gnocchi doused in pesto and flecked with goat’s cheese. The coffee is excellent and the pyramids of Italian doughnuts are hard to resist, so cut to the chase with one of each and enjoy them from your barstool perch while scenic images of Italy shine down on you.
