Revolver Upstairs
Thai
A night at Revolver is something of a rite of passage for any self-respecting Melbourne barfly. Storm the steep stairs then stagger back down them hours later, post dancing, drinking and eating a gutful of sweet potato and cashew dumplings from Revolver's Thai restaurant, Colonel Tan's. Cocktails are relatively orthodox but an amazingly diverse range of international and boutique local beer and wine sets the place apart. Slug down a couple of German white beers (Erdinger Weissbier, Schofferhofer Hefeweizen), New Zealand's Emerson brews or a local Kooinda Pale Ale, then recharge with fresh air before round two.
