The Winston
15/20
Contemporary$$
This grub comes without pomp or hefty price tag. An open fire and a good regional wine list make for a warm welcome, and an extensive pizza menu features the likes of the Winston (double-smoked ham, chorizo, feta, mushroom, onion, kalamata olives and prosciutto) and one-kilo pots of black mussels. It makes choosing a tad difficult. Deciding the 400-gram rib-eye on the bone - moist but a little chewy - and the grilled whole lemon sole with burnt butter, salad and fries were the go, we weren't disappointed. Stuffed? Try the dessert tasting plate for two.
