Euforia
Contemporary
There's something about this East Balmain corner terrace that provokes odd names: it's been 'Aunty Pasto', then 'Asetra' and now 'Euforia'. Mull this over with a good cup of Mecca coffee and a brunch plate, perhaps featuring perfectly poached eggs on a slice of Brasserie white boulot spread thinly with avocado, smoked salmon and sharp feta. The cherry on top: it's served with a free coffee. A good selection of panini, including one stuffed with meatballs, real tomato sauce and parmesan, are perfect commuter lunch pick-ups on the way to the nearby ferry stop (with awesome Harbour Bridge views). Belgian waffles, decadently topped with a brownie, chocolate gelato and chocolate sauce, are best tackled eat-in.
