A butcher and chef would have to be the team most likely to make killer burgers. The owners at this L-shaped terrace space down the Parra Road end of Norton Street wear those job titles proudly. And their burgers? They’re generous, fresh and flavourful. There are a dozen to choose from, plus steak sambos, wraps and battered fish, salads and starters (including cheesy, crunchy arancini). For ‘bigger is better’ subscribers, the Bonarche burger is the pick. A massive two-hand affair, it features beef patty, bacon, egg, cheese, beetroot, caramelised onion and greens. It towers above the kids’ slim beef and cheese burger. Good chips, too.
