Albee’s Kitchen
Malaysian$$
Great value, authentic Malaysian food clearly has a market in Sydney with Albee’s opening this new branch while the original Campsie one continues buzzing. With smarter though still simple decor and an identical menu, the formula draws just as big a crowd in the east. Kick off with possibly the finest curry puffs around, the flaky pastry concealing spicy filling and a boiled egg. Four treasure vegetables are a luscious mix of eggplant, okra, petai and beans in shrimpy sambal, while boneless Marmite chicken is sticky, crunchy and moreish. Or streamline operations and choose a set meal for around $10.
