Time:2 hours +Makes:four large (125ml) rabbits or 10 baby (25ml) bunnies.

These simple jellies take just take a few hours to set in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • Rabbit moulds, lightly oiled

  • 85g packet jelly crystals

  • 2 tsp powdered gelatine

  • 190ml hot water

  • 190ml cold water

Method

  1. Spray moulds lightly with cooking oil to make the jellies easier to remove when set.

    Combine jelly crystals and gelatine powder in a medium bowl. Carefully add hot water and stir with a fork until crystals dissolve. Add cold water and stir well. Pour mixture into a jug.

    Carefully pour mixture into oiled rabbit moulds and place on a plate. Refrigerate for four hours or until set. Carefully run a warm dry knife around the edge of each rabbit and gently ease the mixture away from the sides of the mould with your fingertips. Unmould jelly onto a plate.
