What do you think of our choices today?
No doubt the big talking point will be where we’ve placed current Chief Minister Michael Gunner.
It’s true that no sitting Chief Minister has ever been named in the No. 1 position since The List’s inception ... but it’s also true that no sitting Chief Minister has ever been named as far down The List as Mr Gunner comes in this year, as he does at No.13.
But many will argue that he shouldn’t even be this high.
No matter where you look, the Chief Minister is under siege from all quarters.

The voters are extremely unhappy with him because of youth crime and the economy, the police association is furious with him, he has fought with almost every union in the Territory, and he has pissed off plenty of MLAs in the Labor team.
Some of the internal polling we’ve heard about Mr Gunner’s popularity and that of Labor makes for diabolical listening.
