There was a lot of talk about our selections on Sunday.

And there is sure to be a lot more about our choices today.

Today, we reveal numbers 80-61 (below) and there are some big names among them.

Some say The List is a curse, with many who make it to the pointy end often doomed to slip way down the positions the next year, or off it completely. Just ask ICAC Commissioner Ken Fleming QC this year.

Last year we made him the Territory’s No.1 Most Powerful person. This year we had a tough time keeping him on the list at all and he just barely scraped in at position No. 120.

No doubt one of the taking points today will be where we’ve placed Ken Vowles.

Last year Vowles, the thorn in Chief Minister Michael Gunner’s side, was the highest ranked member of Cabinet on our list at No. 3, five places ahead of his boss.

Just two days after he was revealed as making 2018’s Top 3 he was unceremoniously sacked from Cabinet.

This year Vowles has slid 66 places to No. 69 ... but we have a sneaking suspicion he might climb back up The List soon enough.
