Our 120 Most Powerful list has certainly stirred up the Territory’s movers and shakers.

Our selections so far have already caused as much discussion over trendy coffee shop tables as they have at beer-stained pub bars.

Maybe that’s because our list has got even more attitude than ever this year.

There was plenty of discussion over our decision to include Jon Tippett QC and Peter Maley at 62 and 63 as the NT legal world’s power tag team.

Major cases from the Danny Deacon murder trial to that of the eventually jailed travel agent, Xana Kamitsis — who still made the power list herself — have been defended by them.
