THE CALLS are starting to come in thick and fast now. “I haven’t seen my name on The 120 list yet. When am I going to be in?”

We’re sworn to secrecy and aren’t giving anything away until we publish each name ... but the unspoken answer in our heads is sometimes, “Ahhhhh ... you’re not in there this time, sorry”.

The NT News’ 120 Most Powerful list has certainly stirred up the Territory’s movers and shakers.

Our first 30 selections have sure caused a lot of debate around town.

Maybe that’s because our list is even more controversial than ever this year.

And you’ll only find it, exclusively, on the NT News website which counts down from numbers 90-81 today.

Just click on each picture in our interactive graphic below to find out a bit more about our list makers and why we’ve placed them where we have.

What did you think of our choices today?

There’s sure to be some talk about jailed travel agent Xana Kamitsis appearing as one of The 120.

We think she deserves to be on the list because almost a year after being sent to prison there are still matters before the courts which she was intimately involved in. No pun intended.

And what did you think of our choices Tuesday?

There was plenty of discussion over our decision to place Darwin City Council aldermen Mick Palmer and Simon Niblock together at numbers 98 and 99. One represents Greenies, the other built a career taking them on.

And they are both much higher than Darwin City Lord Mayor, Katrina Fong Lim, who only came in at Number 116.

Make sure you keep up with our list as we count it down here, only at the ntnews.com.au

And just remember, you’ll have nothing to gossip about if you’re not reading it.
