Territorians’ last chance to buy economy-boosting BASSINTHEGRASS 2023 tickets

An iconic Top End festival is set to sell out, providing a major boost to the NT’s economy. Here’s what to expect from the popular event.

An major Top End music festival is set to give the Territory’s economy a huge boost.

Tourism Minister Nicole Manison said BASSINTHEGRASS was a must-do and offered interstate visitors the chance to experience the Territory’s unique tourism ventures.

“BASSINTHEGRASS has become a rite of passage for music fans across Australia, with this iconic festival selling out multiple years in a row,” she said.

Ms Manison said the festival was a unique NT experience for people of all ages.

“To avoid missing out on the Territory’s biggest and longest running music festival, I would highly encourage locals and visitors alike to get in quick before this event sells out again,” she said.

BASSINTHEGRASS 2022 broke the festival’s ticketing records and sold out with 16,000 music-lovers in attendance.

The Top End’s most popular music festival took out the title of Best Cultural, Arts, or Music Event in the 2022 Australian event awards.

The festival also sold out in 2021 and 2019.

BASSINTHEGRASS has cemented its position on the national music festival calendar, and is renowned for its beachside locale, incredible line-ups, and sunny weather.

The highly-anticipated performances for 2023 include Amy Shark, Angus and Julia Stone, Babe Rainbow, Baker Boy, Guy Sebastian, Hooligan Hefs, Jack Botts, L D R U, MAY-A, Ocean Alley, Peach PRC, The Presets, San Cisco, Spacey Jane, Steph Strings, and Tones and I.

This year’s festival goers took to Facebook to share their excitement.

“San Cisco and Guy Sebastian – sounds too good to be true,” Emma Wheeler wrote.

“What a birthday present for myself,” Loz Minter said.

Others tagged friends and family in posts relating to the upcoming festival, encouraging interstate fans to purchase flights and visit the Top End in May.

Top End festival goers have one more chance to snap up BASSINTHEGRASS 2023 tickets.

Final release tickets are $140 after early bird and first release tickets sold out for the May 20 festival.
