High octane action won’t just be contained to the track this weekend at the 2025 betr Darwin Triple Crown., with loads of entertainment to be had.
Aussie rock legends the Screaming Jets will take centre stage on Sunday, following Shannon Noll’s performance on the Saturday.
The action will get underway Wednesday with the new Palmerston Driver Parade that will see Supercars drivers ride aboard the Big Bus, departing Hidden Valley at 5:40pm, while dozens of Supercars prime movers roll through Palmerston.
The infamous track to Town will return for its second instalment on Thursday, with festivities to get underway at the Esplanade from 4pm.
All 25 championship Supercars will parade through the Darwin CBD before parking on the Esplanade, between Herbert St and Knuckey St.
Racing will kick off on the Friday and will run through till the evening with the main and final Supercars race held over 200km to start at 2.40pm.
“This year’s Darwin Triple Crown is set to be our most dynamic and engaging event yet,” Northern Territory Major Events Company Executive Aimee Luxton said.
“We’ve expanded our community activations, from the beloved Track to Town to the new Palmerston Driver Parade and introduced a thrilling new race format alongside an exceptional music line- up with Shannon Noll and the Screaming Jets.”
Supercars chief executive Shane Howard said this year’s event would be one of the most “exciting and important rounds on the 2025 Supercars calendar”.
“The Top End always delivers a spectacular show, and the new format ensures fans will experience high-octane racing across all three days,” he said.
“Our teams love community events like Track to Town and the Palmerston Parade, this is a
round that connects deeply with fans both on and off the circuit.”
