EXCLUSIVE: International party boy Scott Disick and Aussie supermodel Elle “The Body” Macpherson have created a buzz in the Birdcage, while the celebs have all stepped out dressed in their trackside best for Derby Day.
Elle “The Body” Macpherson has unveiled her look for Derby Day, with the Aussie entrepreneur and supermodel staying sunsafe in a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and an all-white ensemble.
Former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and international party boy Scott Disick looked sharp in a grey suit as he hosted the Ultra Australia Marquee party.
He was accompanied by his girlfriend, Sophia Ritchie, daughter of famous singer Lionel Ritchie.
MacPherson’s appearance was the talk of the Birdcage, with the supermodel wearing a custom-made, all-white ensemble by Melbourne designer Toni Maticevksi which featured a dress over trousers and millinery by hatmaker to the royals, Philip Treacy.
“I really wanted to wear something from Melbourne and this is cool and little bit rock and roll; it’s pants with a twist,” she laughed.

For Jennifer Hawkins’ final racing carnival as the face of department store Myer, the model didn’t disappoint in the fashion stakes.
She radiated sleek sophistication in a belted white gown by Maticevski which featured a thigh high split, paired with a broad brimmed hat by Melissa Jackson.
Myer ambassador Rachel Finch embraced ladylike elegance in a full skirt and top by Toni Maticevski and a flower crown by Ford Millinery while Elyse Knowles brought some sparkle to the track in more than $100,000 of diamonds from Bulgari paired with a chic, one-sleeve black mini dress by Alex Perry.
Bec Judd also chose Toni Maticevski, selecting this black-and-white number for the event.
Black and white are always the firm favourites for Derby Day and hundreds of fierce fashionistas embraced the monochrome palette to striking effect.
At Myer Fashions on the Field, stripes, polka dots and dramatic lace and tulle were all favoured however bold all-black or white ensembles were most popular.
Hats and structured millinery dominated in the headwear department over the smaller headbands of recent years.

BRING OUT THE BLING: CELEBS GET SET FOR DERBY DAY
Knowles, a Myer ambassador for the Melbourne Cup Carnival, has some serious jewels on today, including stunning diamond Bulgari earrings, worth around $35,000.
“I’ll be holding onto these for dear life today,” she said.
Bec Judd says her look will feature a black and white Toni Maticevski dress with a statement hair piece from Lady of Leisure Millinery.
Channel 9’s Lauren Phillips is going for a sleek look with pearl accents for both her headpiece and black Badgley Mischka dress.
WATCH OUT MELBOURNE, THE BODY IS BACK
Yesterday, Melbourne’s airport terminal briefly became a catwalk when Aussie supermodel Elle Macpherson jetted into town.
The 54-year-old looked every bit the global glamour, leaving mouths agape as she navigated her way through Tullamarine.
Resplendent in white with matching luggage, “The Body” looked to have a spring in her step despite a gruelling long haul from LA.

The model mum will be among the biggest stars at Flemington tomorrow, a guest of the glitzy Lexus marquee.
ON HOME GROUND FOR ELYSE
Elyse Knowles came face-to-face with feisty Derby contender Home Ground ahead of tomorrow’s big race.
Making her first appearance at the Melbourne Cup Carnival as a Myer ambassador, Knowles said the three-year-old gelding was fired up leading into the $2 million AAMI Derby at Flemington.
“He’s so big, so lean, so tall. I’ll put money on him, he looks like a winner to me,” she said.
Australia’s most popular jockey, Hugh Bowman, who has ridden Winx to a record number of wins, will take the reins on Home Ground.
Derby Day heralds the beginning of the Melbourne Cup Carnival and Knowles says there’s nothing more exciting than driving into the course alongside an expected 90,000 fellow racegoers.
“As soon as you drive in, you see the roses popping out everywhere, you see all the fashion and everyone looking so amazing,” she said.
The style stakes will be high with the start of Myer Fashions on the Field, co-hosted by ambassadors Rachael Finch and Kris Smith.
Guest judges will include face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins, VRC official stylist Elliot Garnaut and Myer Fashions on the Field ambassadors Kirsten Clemens and Dalton Graham.
With Macpherson leading the celebrity set in the Birdcage, she will be joined by Ian Thorpe, Emma Freedman, Ricky and Rianna Ponting and designer Rebecca Vallance. Aussie actor Bella Heathcote will attend as a special guest of the VRC.
Mumm’s out of this world marquee will see Rebecca and Chris Judd, Britt Davis and Joel Selwood, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee.
Networking app Bumble will welcome Jessie and Marc Murphy, Steph Claire Smith and reality TV personalities Georgia Love and Keira MaGuire.
