A MAN seen with three white fluffy dogs is being sought by police investigating five deliberately lit fires in the Sunshine area.

A MAN seen with three white fluffy dogs is being sought by police investigating five deliberately lit fires in the Sunshine area.
The moustached man spoke with firefighters as they responded to one of the scrub fires along the Kororoit Creek walking trail.

He was seen leaving in a red four-wheel drive.
Police wish to speak with him in relation to the following fires:
—Rear of Killara Street, Sunshine West about 6.40am on October 17.
—Southern end of Esmond Street, Ardeer at 7.15am on October 28.
—Western edge of the creek line adjacent to Anderson Road, Sunshine at 7.20pm on November 25.
—At the reserve adjacent to Pickergill Crescent, Sunshine West at 5am on 12 February.
—West of Moira Street, Sunshine at 2pm on February 17.
Witnesses have told police they saw the man, described as Mediterranean in appearance, leaving the Esmond Street fire in a red four wheel drive after speaking with firefighters.
He was wearing a Holden T-shirt and had three dogs with him.
Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information about the man.
