POLICE are appealing for information to identify a man found partially submerged in water in Melbourne’s bayside last week.

A passer-by made the grisly discovery about 6.30am near the Olivers Hill boat ramp in Frankston last Wednesday.

A computer generated image has been released in hope of identifying the man, who death has been deemed non-suspicious.

He was Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 50s with a medium build, black wavy hair and a moustache.

He was wearing a fluorescent orange high visibility top, dark coloured pants and black leather slip on shoes.
