Cheeky trespassers have provided an online tour inside a former landmark Melbourne police station.

The Australian Federal Police’s headquarters in Latrobe St looks decidedly worse for wear in the TikTok footage, posted with the title “Squater (sic) Encounter.

Inside, the walls of the former crime fighting headquarters are marked by graffiti and some rooms have fallen into disrepair.

The post indicates intruders are using stairwells to move up and down the building with lifts believed to be deactivated.

There is footage of a whiteboard but anyone thinking it might reveal old investigative secrets will be disappointed.

It appears that area was part of a gym and exercise area and the whiteboard only displays timetables for things like burpees, box jumps and Russian twists.

Balls are strewn across the floor of another section which appears to be used for games.

The AFP’s Melbourne officers moved into new premises in Lonsdale St in April last year.
