Rebecca and Chris Judd had a colourful companion at the Australian Open on Sunday night – former Mongols boss turned influencer Toby Mitchell.
Melbourne’s top socialites were guests of Piper-Heidsieck who sponsor the prized on-court seating.
But Mitchell was not a guest of the champagne brand or the Australian Open.
The seats can be purchased by anyone, with prices starting at $8000.
Going by the posts he uploaded to his more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, avid tennis fan Mitchell had a ball.
The tattoo clad Melbourne identity had dinner with his friend at Rockpool on site and also posted a picture sitting next to Judd, who obliged and looked at the camera.
Piper-Heidsieck have limited access to those seats with the only other guests in those set to be Magda Szubanski and Ian Thorpe in the coming week.
Sunday night brought out the star power with former Formula One ace Mark Webber sitting in Tennis Australia’s VIP O alongside Eddie McGuire, as well as Brooke Warne, Joey and Jane Scandizzo, Peter Bol, Darcy Moore and Mason Cox.
Nadia Bartel and her partner Peter Dugmore were also guests at day one of the action, packing on the PDA in the stands.
Webber, who said he’s on the bandwagon of Aussie Alex de Minaur, said he plays a lot of tennis at home in the UK.
Sir Ian Botham was also in the stands as a guest of Emirates, with his beauty queen granddaughter Imani-Jayne Botham who has spent the past year living in Melbourne.
