Melbourne businesswoman and heiress Georgia Danos says she is “over the moon” to be expecting her first child with husband Matthew.

Melbourne businesswoman and heiress Georgia Danos, nee Geminder, is expecting her first child with husband Matthew Danos.

The newlyweds who married in October in the society wedding of the year are overjoyed at becoming parents.

Danos, the granddaughter of late business tycoon Richard Pratt, showed her growing baby bump on social media and replied to a congratulations message that they are having a little girl.

“We are over the moon,” Danos wrote.

She took her new bump out to her best friend Zoe Fayman’s hen’s party last week.

There was more good news for entrepreneur Danos, the daughter of rich-listers Fiona and Raphael Geminder, who is growing her successful oral healthcare brand GEM.

Last week she launched her new electric toothbrushes, following on from making the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in Asia.

The former model and Grand Prix ambassador tied the knot with investment director Danos at Raheen in Kew, the Pratt family home.

She stunned in a gown by Melbourne couturiers J’Aton flanked by eight bridesmaid including her two sisters Bella and Sammy.

The reception was beautifully detailed and planned with the menu overseen by chef Guillaume Brahimi and later in the evening guests provided with In-N-Out burgers.

Instead of gifts, those invited who included some of Melbourne’s most prominent families, were asked to make a donation to a charity specified by the couple.
