She channelled Barbie at a cheeky hen’s party, now the savvy granddaughter of tycoon Richard Pratt, Georgia Geminder, is set for a society wedding.

She has had the bridal shower and channelled Barbie in at a cheeky hen’s party and now entrepreneurial Melbourne ‘it girl’ Georgia Geminder is ready to put a ring on it.

A spring wedding is beckoning founder of natural oral healthcare brand GEM, with Geminder understood to be tying the knot imminently with her investment director fiance, Matthew Danos.

Geminder, the granddaughter of tycoon Richard Pratt, whose parents are rich listers Fiona and Raphael Geminder, will wed in Melbourne with lauded designers J’Aton believed to have been charged with creating her wedding gown.

Geminder marked her pending nuptials with a hen’s party last weekend at Lillian Terrace that saw the former model snapped on Collins Street, channelling Barbie and wearing a Barbie packaging box.

Guests each received a hen’s party survival kit and some interestingly shaped swizzle sticks.

“I am excited to get married, I am excited to start my life with my beautiful fiance and just live our life and enjoy the moment,” Geminder said in May, adding her gown would be created by a Melbourne designer who “I know and trust and love and I know they will execute my vision”.

Proving that business nous runs in the family, Geminder made the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in Asia with her fast-growing brand GEM.

The idea for GEM started when Geminder was modelling and noticed a shift in the beauty industry towards natural, clean products. She saw a gap in the personal care space around the mouth and teeth, which led to her creating GEM.
