The Best of Melbourne
Don't miss out on the headlines from The Best of Melbourne. Followed categories will be added to My News.
It’s no secret Melbourne is king when it comes to being Australia’s best city.
We’ve got top coffee, awesome bars and restaurants, endless spots to shop up a storm, and prime sporting events — the list goes on.
But sometimes you want a list of all those good things at the touch of a button.
Not only that, you want assurances they come backed by popular opinion — and to know just what it is that makes them so loved.
Enter Best of Melbourne.
Leader Community News and the Herald Sun have launched this series as a way of celebrating all the great things which make Melbourne top dog.
Best of Melbourne is your one-stop-shop to discover the best things about our city — from hairdressers to fish and chips, coffee, bars and personal trainers to kids’ playgrounds.
Every fortnight we will launch a new search, for the likes of Melbourne’s best ice cream and smoothie shops, parmas and nail bars. We want you to nominate your favourites, then we’ll put a shortlist to a public vote before the top 10 is revealed in a handy guide.
