The 36-year-old Noble Park mother of one was given 42 days behind bars for another bout of crimes including handling stolen goods, theft and failing to answer bail.

The court heard on September 21 this year she was seen in Springvale police station car park in a vehicle with stolen NSW plates.

When police searched the car, they found her with $773 worth of clothing, which she admitted was likely to have been stolen.

She was arrested and bailed, but after failing to report to authorities over the next two weeks, police found her hiding under a bed at a friend’s place on October 5.

In February she was involved in the theft of a hire car obtained by using a stolen driving licence and credit card.

She had a stolen bank card in her possession, and had also been caught with a stolen car in Mordialloc the month before.

All of these crimes were committed while she was serving two community corrections orders for offending including burglary and theft.

Her defence lawyer said Krejci had a terrible childhood and had a longstanding drug history, especially ice abuse.

He accepted she wasn’t very good at complying with court orders and jail was the most likely option.

Magistrate Tara Hartnett said even though this offending was not at the higher end of the scale, Krejci’s history was so bad she must be jailed.

“The common theme is that she doesn’t do what she’s ordered to do,” Ms Hartnett said.

“It is time this all gets cleaned up; I hope when you are released that you treat this as a line in the sand.”

Krejci was jailed for 42 days, minus 18 days already served, and fined a total of $2500.
