Saucy calendar launched for 2023 for flood victims

A hotly anticipated calendar of Echuca men in varying states of undress is now on sale. See them bare all to Australia, for a good cause. WARNING: NUDITY

It’s here! The hotly anticipated nude calendar of regional Victorian men who stripped off for a good cause has landed.

Dad bods have been celebrated alongside local athletes, to raise money for the Rochester Flood Relief fund.

Its creator, Brett from Echuca-based All Inclusive Photography, came up with the idea to give his neighbours a financial hand after disaster struck the town.

He said there had been some nail biting moments when he feared he wouldn’t find enough models to fill its pages, it had turned out to be a bumper 18-month edition.

It is being sold for $15 online through the photography business’ Facebook page.

“It was stressful at times but it was also a lot of fun and the guys were really great to work with,” he said.

“It’s something I hadn’t done before. We launched it a few days ago and we have sold 115 so far, with orders coming in from as far away as North Queensland.”

Captain of the Rochester Tigers footy team Nathan Moroney was one of the first men to pose for the calendar and two other players from the club have also been included in the calendar.

The club has celebrated the launch on its Facebook page, encouraging supporters to pick up a copy.

Brett said $10 from each purchase was going to the Rochester Flood Relief Fund and the remaining $5 was used to cover printing costs.

Brett said he had been printing off the calendars individually per order, but hoped to be able to get enough done so he could sell them through the Echuca barber shop on High Street.

Brett said he hoped to sell more than 500 copies and wanted to thank all of the people who helped him with the project.

“This calendar wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the participation of the awesome blokes that dared to bare all for this worthy cause. It also wouldn’t have happened without my family support, from not seeing me for hours on end, staying up late keeping me company while I edited the pics, to assisting with printing, binding, punching and packaging. The support I’ve received is definitely appreciated.”

The genre of cheeky fundraising calendars, made famous by the Helen Mirren film Calendar Girls, has been embraced with gusto by many Australian clubs and groups.
