Dad bods will be celebrated as Echuca men strip off for flood relief fundraising calendar

Echuca men are being asked to get their gear off and bare all to Australia, for a good cause. And dad bods are very welcome.

Echuca is going to get something in its Christmas stocking that it’s probably never had before – a tantalising beefcake calendar of local men, who have disrobed for a very good cause.

An enterprising photography business has put out a modelling call for men in the region to turn up for a photo shoot this weekend which will be used for a flood relief calendar.

It promises only tasteful shots, with no full frontal nudity.

Brett of All Inclusive Photography said it was not a beauty talent search, rather a more laid back and light hearted attempt to raise spirits in a region that’s had a lot to deal with.

“The bookings are coming in – couple of spots have been filled, but there are plenty of spots to fill, every cent raised will be going to flood relief,” he said.

Brett, who lives in Echuca Village, said he and his family and animals had to evacuate during the flooding disaster but their home was not damaged.

Brett, of All Inclusive Photography, Echuca, is putting together a revealing calendar of regional men. He has modelled for it and needs 11 other men to grace its pages, to raise money for Rochester flood relief.

“The money raised from the calendar will go to the Rochester Community Bank flood recovery account,” he said.

Many people who call the riverside towns home have tagged their mates and many are being called upon for their, ahem, skills.

“I’ll do all shots at their comfort levels, they can have a few beers on us, relax and enjoy,” he said.

There would also be room to back out if people were feeling shy in the aftermath of their shoot.

“Once we’re done, if they don’t wish their pic to be published in our calendar, they will still receive their digital images.”

It is, naturally, a competitive market, with veterinary students from the University of Sydney already releasing a sneak peak at their calendar shoot for flood relief as well.

However, Brett is confident that the local angle will sell well.
