If you’re looking for the best burgers in the region you’ll find them in Seville.

The popularity of Branded Burgers and Bar has only grown since the pair of friends – Gina Braidner and Amanda Pearse – opened their Warburton Highway restaurant four years ago.

In that time the menu has been so popular, the pair haven’t changed what they’re offering customers.

This has clearly worked as Leader readers recently rated the Yarra Valley restaurant as the best burger joint in the region as part of the Delicious Local campaign.

And Mrs Braidner put their popularity down to the pair loving what they do.

“We pride ourselves in quality ingredients and quality service,” she said.

In case you haven’t had the pleasure of eating at Branded Burgers and Bar, each menu item is named after a well-known road in the Yarra Valley.

Mrs Braidner said their most popular burger by far was the Old Warby with a beef patty, caramelised onion, streaky bacon, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato chutney and garlic aioli.

There are also delicious sides including loaded fries, beer battered chips and onion rings, sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks and mac and cheese croquets.

But it’s not just their amazing food the community loves so much.

The pair are constantly giving back, sponsoring schools and sporting clubs, but also getting involved with campaigns.

Mrs Braidner said their first Christmas Day was spent serving a feast to 50 homeless and vulnerable people.

“Throughout Covid (last year) we also fed those badly affected. Our chef cooked and Amanda and I drove around delivering meals,” she said.

Last year the pair helped out Santa when he bid farewell to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre.

The latest campaign they’re contributing to is Backpacks for Beds, run through Holy Fools.

All the profits from the sale of the Burgers 4 Beds burger during the month of June will go toward paying for a special backpack that rolls out into a swag, with a thermal sleeping bag.

“Then it folds back into a backpack when you’re finished,” she said.

The burger in question is a double crispy chicken, double American cheese, crispy bacon, tomato, lettuce, house made chilli relish and southern hot sauce – “to warm you up this winter”.
