A 25-year-old Thomastown man was stabbed on the afternoon of October 16, at a home on a quiet residential street in Heidelberg West.
Police confirmed that no new details have been uncovered regarding the identity of any other individuals involved and no arrests had been made.
Residents who lived nearby were reluctant to comment on the incident, but one neighbour told Leader he suspected the residents of the house where the stabbing occurred had enemies.
Another neighbour said she’d noticed an unusual amount of noise coming from the house across the street, where the stabbing occurred.
“All the windows in the front of the house … they’d been smashed,” she said.
