Diggers Rest eyes premiership glory

DIGGERS Rest has qualified for a Riddell District Football League grand final showdown with Romsey after taking care of reigning premier Riddell in its preliminary final on Saturday.

Kangaroos star caught on the hop with win

SUNBURY Kangaroos midfielder Dylan Murphy arrived at last Wednesday night’s Bowen Medal count with few expectations but he ended up stealing the show, collecting the league’s top individual award.

RIDDELL District Football League president Allan ‘Ollie’ Matthews has expressed his disappointment after Broadford moved a step closer to leaving the league last week.

Redbacks flag intent

ROMSEY’S premiership campaign took another step in the right direction on Saturday when the Redbacks accounted for Rupertswood in a low-scoring qualifying final.
