From high-speed highway police chases to driving without a licence while intoxicated, these are the Goulburn Valley’s most reckless, dangerous drivers.

They’ve been caught speeding down quiet residential streets, driving while intoxicated and booting it down highways at absurd speeds.
They’ve also been caught driving unlicensed — a recurring theme among the Goulburn Valley's reckless drivers.
Here are the Goulburn Valley’s most dangerous drivers.
MOHAMMED BAKER AL-GAZALY
A “stressed” lab technician who was running late for work was busted doing 152km/h in a 100km/h in the state’s north.
Mohammed Baker Al-Gazaly pleaded guilty to one charge of exceeding the speed limit by 45km/h or more at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The 26-year-old was pulled over in Pine Lodge on March 17 this year.
When police asked Al-Gazaly why he was speeding, he told them he had a “stressful week” and was running late for work.
Al-Gazaly received an infringement notice of $925.
RICKY BRIAN VANDER GULIK
Gulik was found hooning on his Harley Davidson with cannabis in his system before crashing into bushes in the state’s north.
When police arrived they discovered his licence had expired on October 7, 2019.
The Numurkah man pleaded guilty at the Cobram Magistrates’ Court in August 2023 for unlicensed driving, using an unregistered motor vehicle, careless driving and driving a vehicle while under the influence.
Gulik remarked that “alcohol makes you do stupid things”.
JACOB ASHLEY LANCASTER
Lancaster pleaded guilty at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in August 2023 to failing to answer bail and driving while his licence was suspended.
Lancaster was pulled over by police on March 20 in Shepparton, and failed to show a licence, which police later discovered was suspended.
His car had been impounded and he had already lost his licence for speeding.
MAKALA MIFKA
Mifka is a serial Shepparton hoon with a penchant for leading police on high-speed chases.
On August 3 2023, the court heard Mifka was captured doing 150km/h on the Hume Highway and then the Goulburn Valley Highway.
Mifka led a “scary” and “potentially dangerous” 70km chase across the Greater Shepparton area.
She pleaded guilty to the charges to multiple driving and drug charges, and was sentenced to 83 days imprisonment and lost her licence for two years.
In 2020, Mifka was sentenced to 100 days behind bars after travelling 150km/h in a 60km/h zone.
SARWAN SINGH
Singh is a Goulburn Valley man who was caught driving more than six times the legal blood alcohol limit on a Cobram Highway.
Sarwan Singh, 37, pleaded guilty at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Friday to a charge of failing a preliminary breath test.
In a court document read by the prosecutor, police were conducting routine breath tests on the Murray Hwy in Cobram on March 6 last year.
The Goulburn Valley man, who was pulled over by police in his Toyota about 9.46am, also didn’t have his licence on him.
LINDSAY KEITH WILLIAMS
Williams is a Shepparton man who led police on a wild chase before crashing into a wire fence.
Lindsay Keith Williams — who had been unlicensed for 10 years — pleaded guilty in the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court to failing to stop a vehicle on police directions, reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering life or serious injury, driving in a manner dangerous and unlicensed driving.
Williams was driving in a blue Holden Cruze at a speed of 90km/h to 100km/h in a 60km/h zone in Shepparton about 5.35am on April 23 this year.
Nearby police detected Williams’ speed, followed his car and activated their sirens.
However, the 44-year-old failed to stop, and he continued to drive on travel on Drummond Rd, heading east, the court heard.
Williams’ licence was disqualified for a further 12 months and was required to work an additional 20 hours to go toward his community corrections order.
