A new place to enjoy all-day breakfast, lunch and speciality coffee has opened up in Blackburn Station Village.
Located on Gardenia St, Gardenia Cafe offers a variety of Australian and South-East Asian foods.
Customers can grab Melbourne’s typical smashed avo or they can try dishes more unique to the brunch spot.
The panko benedict — panko prawns, spinach, poached eggs, homemade hollandaise sauce on toast — is a popular dish, along with the bao bao bao — Asian soft bun filled with soft shell crab, pulled pork and marinated chicken.

The cafe’s burger with beer-battered chips and fluffy pancakes with matcha ice cream are also proving to be a hit.
The menu has been devised by the team of six staff members, who all knew each other before starting up the cafe together.
“We’re like a little family,” said Chrissy Trigg.
Ms Trigg makes the cafe’s speciality coffee, having worked as a barista for five years.
Customers dropping in to get their fix of the cafe’s coffee can take their pick of the collection of cakes and sweets.
And those who don’t have the time to make their way down can enjoy the menu through the UberEats app.
