Three Lang Lang women have been arrested after allegedly destroying a unit and assaulting two victims in the early hours of the morning.
Senior Sergeant Scott Morison told The Bass Coast News the brutal incident happened at a property in The Gurdies about 3am on April 19.
When a female occupant of the unit answered the door, the three women allegedly forced their way into the home and dragged the victim by her hair.
The offenders proceeded to completely destroy the unit before the male occupant was allegedly assaulted with a stick multiple times.
Sen-Sgt Morison said a car and windows at the address were smashed.
“A lot of personal belongings were also damaged,” he said.
“The unit was basically trashed.”
After the attack, the women fled the scene and allegedly took the man’s mobile phone.
Later that day, a 40, 21 and 16-year-old were arrested and charged with home invasion, aggravated burglary, criminal damage and theft.
The 40 and 21-year-old were remanded to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on April 21 while the 16-year-old was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
